Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver outpatient mental health services via Brave Health's telehealth program.

• Provide empathetic and high-quality mental health treatment from a remote setting.

• Collaborate with commercial health plans and cater to Medicaid and Medicare patients of all ages.

• Offer care to a varied demographic of patients.

• Complete 30 client care hours each week, averaging six clients daily.

• Utilize mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses to guide treatment approaches.

• Create individualized treatment plans.

• Perform thorough assessments.

• Work alongside clients to help them reach their goals.

• Utilize telehealth, video conferencing, and internal communication tools throughout the day.

• Fulfill additional state licensing requirements as Brave Health expands into new regions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure required.

• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without needing employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Continuous, unrestricted U.S. work authorization without dependence on visa sponsorship or renewal.

• A private workspace at home to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.

• Proficiency in English.

• Spanish fluency preferred; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.

• Understanding of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.

• Skills in treatment planning.

• Comfortable with telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication tools.

• Experience collaborating with clients to help them achieve their objectives.

• Capability to conduct comprehensive assessments.

• Fully/independently licensed in at least one state.

• Willing to obtain additional state licenses as necessary.
