This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Inform consumers about health insurance options available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
• Evaluate the coverage needs of individuals and families, assisting them in understanding the plan options at their disposal.
• Clarify key aspects of plans such as premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, prescription coverage, and other essential features.
• Assist consumers in navigating the ACA Marketplace application and enrollment process.
• Deliver professional, consultative customer service during every consumer interaction.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer information, application details, and enrollment documentation in company systems.
• Conduct follow-ups with both prospective and enrolled consumers as necessary.
• Achieve established goals related to sales, conversion rates, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience.
• Adhere to all relevant CMS, Marketplace, carrier, licensing, and company regulations.
• Keep all necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and Marketplace credentials up to date.
• Engage in continuous training, coaching, performance development, and team meetings.
• Proficiently navigate various computer systems and applications while assisting customers.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
• An active Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
• A valid National Producer Number (NPN).
• Newly licensed insurance agents are welcome to apply; prior experience in ACA sales is not mandatory.
• Preferred experience in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call center, or customer service roles.
• Capable of completing and maintaining all necessary ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training before conducting Marketplace enrollments.
• Ability to meet applicable carrier contracting and appointment prerequisites.
• Excellent verbal communication, listening, and customer service abilities.
• Comfortable in a sales environment that is goal-oriented and performance-driven.
• Coachable, reliable, professional, and eager to grow within the insurance sector.
• Strong computer navigation skills with the capacity to learn and work across multiple systems.
• Capability to work independently while also contributing to a remote team atmosphere.
• A dependable high-speed internet connection and a professional home workspace.
• Ability to maintain required licenses, certifications, and continuing education obligations.
• Willingness to work additional hours, including evenings or weekends, as business needs dictate, particularly during peak Open Enrollment periods.
