This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Educate consumers about health insurance choices available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
• Evaluate the coverage needs of individuals and families, providing clarity on the various plan options.
• Clarify details regarding premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, prescription coverage, and other features of the plans.
• Assist consumers in navigating the ACA Marketplace application and enrollment process.
• Deliver professional and consultative customer service during all consumer interactions.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer information, application data, and enrollment documentation within company systems.
• Follow up with both prospective and enrolled consumers as necessary.
• Achieve sales, conversion, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience targets.
• Adhere to compliance standards set by CMS, Marketplace, carriers, licensing, and company protocols.
• Keep necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and Marketplace credentials up to date.
• Engage in continuous training, coaching, performance development, and team meetings.
• Navigate multiple computer systems and applications while assisting customers.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Active Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
• Active National Producer Number (NPN).
• Newly licensed insurance agents are welcome to apply; prior experience in ACA sales is not mandatory.
• Previous experience in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call center, or customer service is preferred.
• Capability to complete and maintain all necessary ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training before conducting enrollments.
• Ability to fulfill relevant carrier contracting and appointment requirements.
• Excellent verbal communication, listening, and customer service abilities.
• Comfort with working in a goal-oriented and performance-driven sales environment.
• Coachable, reliable, professional, and eager to grow within the insurance sector.
• Strong skills in computer navigation with the ability to learn and operate across multiple systems.
• Capacity to work independently while supporting a remote team setting.
• Access to a reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional remote workspace.
• Ability to uphold necessary licensing, certifications, and continuing education obligations.
• Willingness to work extra hours, including evenings or weekends, when business demands, especially during peak Open Enrollment periods.
