This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Educate consumers about the health insurance options available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
• Evaluate the coverage needs of individuals and families, assisting consumers in comprehending their available plan selections.
• Clarify details regarding premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, prescription coverage, and other crucial plan features.
• Assist consumers throughout the ACA Marketplace application and enrollment process.
• Deliver professional and consultative customer service during every interaction with consumers.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of customer information, application specifics, and enrollment documentation within company systems.
• Conduct follow-ups with prospective and enrolled consumers as necessary.
• Achieve established targets related to sales, conversion, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience.
• Adhere to all relevant CMS, Marketplace, carrier, licensing, and company regulations.
• Keep all necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and Marketplace credentials up to date.
• Engage in ongoing training, coaching, performance development, and team meetings.
• Skillfully navigate multiple computer systems and applications while assisting customers.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Active Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
• Active National Producer Number (NPN).
• Newly licensed insurance agents are welcome to apply; prior experience in ACA sales is not mandatory.
• Preferred background in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call center, or customer service experience.
• Capability to complete and maintain all necessary ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training prior to executing Marketplace enrollments.
• Ability to meet applicable carrier contracting and appointment standards.
• Excellent verbal communication, listening, and customer service abilities.
• Comfort in a goal-oriented and performance-driven sales atmosphere.
• Coachable, reliable, professional, and eager to grow within the insurance sector.
• Strong computer navigation skills with the ability to learn and operate across multiple systems.
• Capacity to work independently while effectively contributing to a remote team setting.
• Dependable high-speed internet connection and a professional remote working environment.
• Ability to uphold required licensing, certifications, and continuing education standards.
• Willingness to work extra hours, evenings, or weekends when business demands arise, especially during peak Open Enrollment periods.
