This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Educate consumers about health insurance options available under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace.
• Evaluate the coverage needs of individuals and families, and clarify the various plan options available.
• Explain key components such as premiums, deductibles, copays, provider networks, prescription coverage, and additional plan features.
• Assist consumers through the application and enrollment process in the ACA Marketplace.
• Deliver professional and consultative customer service during every interaction with consumers.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer information, application details, and enrollment documentation within company systems.
• Follow up with both prospective and enrolled consumers as necessary.
• Achieve set targets for sales, conversion rates, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer experience.
• Adhere to all relevant CMS, Marketplace, carrier, licensing, and company regulations.
• Maintain necessary insurance licenses, certifications, carrier appointments, and credentials for the Marketplace.
• Engage in continuous training, coaching, performance development, and participate in team meetings.
• Navigate various computer systems and applications while assisting customers.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Must possess an active Health or Health/Life Insurance License in good standing.
• An active National Producer Number (NPN) is required.
• Newly licensed insurance agents are encouraged to apply; prior experience in ACA sales is not mandatory.
• Previous experience in ACA, health insurance, telesales, call center, or customer service is preferred.
• Capable of completing and maintaining all required ACA Marketplace/FFM registration and training before conducting enrollments.
• Must fulfill applicable carrier contracting and appointment requirements.
• Strong verbal communication, listening, and customer service skills are essential.
• Comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment with set goals.
• Must be coachable, reliable, professional, and motivated to advance in the insurance industry.
• Proficient computer navigation skills with the ability to operate within multiple systems.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a remote team setting.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional remote workspace are required.
• Must maintain necessary licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
• Willingness to work additional hours, evenings, or weekends as needed, especially during peak Open Enrollment periods.
