Legal Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee budgets, forecasts, reporting, and associated databases for litigation matters.

• Track matter performance, assess costs and budget discrepancies, identify risks, and propose solutions.

• Ensure matters remain consistent with scope, timelines, and financial plans.

• Act as the primary Legal Project Manager resource for major clients.

• Deliver financial analysis, forecasting, reporting, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with legal, billing, accounting, and pricing teams.

• Foster innovation and continuous improvement utilizing AI-driven tools.

• Create process enhancements and implement best practices.

• Spearhead strategic project management initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.

• Proven experience in a law firm or professional services setting is essential.

• Familiarity with litigation matters is necessary.

• Experience in IP litigation is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience is desirable.

• Legal Project Management/Pricing certification, JD, and/or MBA is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and client service skills.

• High degree of professionalism, responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with legal project management/pricing tools and AI technologies.
