This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Establish and strengthen strategic connections with a selection of top AmLaw and Chambers-ranked law firms.
• Act as the primary relationship manager and independently lead meetings.
• Navigate the business development, marketing, and innovation teams within law firms, considering conflicts and confidentiality issues.
• Foster champions across various practice groups and office locations.
• Create and manage joint content, thought leadership initiatives, briefings, events, client dinners, and conference engagements.
• Collaborate with Crux’s marketing team on co-marketing and engagement initiatives.
• Provide legal and market intelligence, CLE-eligible briefings, deal term standards, and customized reports to partner firms.
• Assist firms in utilizing Crux’s platform and collaborating on industry-standard documentation.
• Promote Crux’s capital markets business and enhance clients’ access to capital.
• Maintain partner records, relationship health, and program insights in collaboration with RevOps.
• Enhance repeatable partnership playbooks.
• Participate in partner briefings, conferences, client events, and roadshows, requiring approximately 25% travel.
• Work collaboratively across commercial, legal, market intelligence, and marketing teams.
• Report to the Senior Director of Partnerships.
• Proven legal fluency with the ability to engage credibly with AmLaw partners or in-house counsel.
• Experience in understanding how transactional attorneys structure deals and provide client advisement.
• Familiarity with law firm business development, marketing, and innovation functions.
• Awareness of conflicts and confidentiality considerations.
• Proven track record in forging impactful relationships with enterprise or top-tier partners.
• Demonstrated commercial success through partnership initiatives.
• Approximately 6–8 years of relevant experience.
• History of independently managing significant workstreams or relationships.
• Experience in developing playbooks or enhancing initial versions.
• Comfort working with minimal support in a fast-paced growth environment.
• Enthusiasm for utilizing AI tools.
• Successful collaboration across functions with limited direct authority.
• Curiosity and capability to swiftly learn about clean energy finance, transferable tax credits, tax equity, and debt.
• Relevant background may include law firm business development, marketing, or innovation; legal-industry partnerships or alliances; project finance or tax law; or professional services business development.
• Remote-first operating model: Work from anywhere in the US and Canada.
