Legal Intern – Employment Law

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Perform legal research regarding individual and collective employment relations, social security legislation, immigration law, and employment-related criminal law.

• Assist in providing legal and operational guidance to HR stakeholders at the Canal+ Economic and Social Unit (UES) concerning their daily employment law issues.

• Oversee litigation and pre-litigation matters involving both permanent and intermittent employees, collaborating with HR stakeholders and external legal counsel.

• Offer legal assistance to the Employee Relations team during employee representative body (IRP) meetings and in the negotiation of company agreements.

• Conduct ongoing legal monitoring and keep the Human Resources Department updated on changes in employment law.

• Revise legal information documents for HR teams available on the intranet.

• Participate in cross-functional HR initiatives, including training programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced law degree (Master 2, bar school student, or equivalent) with a focus on employment law.

• A minimum of six months of initial experience in employment law, acquired either in-house or at a law firm.

• Comprehensive knowledge of employment law.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.

• Outstanding writing skills.

• An analytical mindset.

• A team-oriented, energetic, and proactive attitude.
