This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Oversee negotiations for client agreements throughout EMEA and the United States, encompassing SaaS agreements, software licensing conditions, DPAs, security provisions, SOWs, NDAs, and related commercial documents.
• Collaborate with Sales leaders, Sales teams, and the Deal Desk from the initial review stage to final signature.
• Offer practical, risk-informed guidance to assist the business in achieving viable outcomes and advancing deals.
• Provide counsel on liability, indemnification, intellectual property, privacy, security, service commitments, and various other commercial matters.
• Review and negotiate agreements related to resellers, referrals, integration, technology alliances, and additional partner contracts.
• Work in conjunction with Finance, Security, Customer Success, Product, and other teams on commercial and client-related issues.
• Create and maintain templates, playbooks, fallback strategies, and Sales enablement resources.
• Enhance and scale contracting processes as Tines’ global sales team expands.
• Assist with broader initiatives of the Legal team as required.
• 5–8 years of applicable legal experience, including 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
• Qualification as a solicitor or lawyer in Ireland, England and Wales, or another pertinent EU jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating commercial technology agreements.
• Experience in directly supporting Sales teams and overseeing customer negotiations.
• Strong comprehension of legal issues impacting SaaS and software transactions.
• Excellent commercial judgment combined with a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.
• Ability to identify significant legal risks versus issues that can be resolved through practical compromise.
• Capability to manage multiple negotiations and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Comfort in operating independently within a distributed, international organization.
• Authorization to work in Ireland.
• Alignment with Tines’ principles of speed, simplicity, and soundness.
