Legal Consultant – Products, ECM, Structured Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Deliver mid- to long-term legal support for a prominent global client in the digital assets and fintech sector.

• Serve as the main legal advisor for a range of equities and innovative or structured products throughout their lifecycle, from conception and launch to enhancement and exit.

• Prepare, review, and negotiate offering documents, product terms, brokerage/platform agreements, and partner contracts.

• Develop program-level documentation as necessary.

• Provide guidance on regulatory and compliance issues, including financial promotions, market conduct, and licensing matters.

• Collaborate with internal regulatory, compliance, and risk management teams.

• Engage with product, business, marketing, and operations stakeholders across various jurisdictions.

• Design new initiatives and manage legal risks effectively.

• Oversee external legal counsel.

• Contribute to internal guidance and training initiatives.

• Assist in creating scalable legal processes and templates.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–12+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in structured products, ECM, derivatives, or broader capital markets, acquired from either in-house or private practice environments.

• Familiarity with global or US-based equity programs, such as DRs, structured equity, IPOs, or program-level documentation is a plus.

• Experience in crypto, digital assets, or tokenization is preferred but not mandatory.

• Demonstrated ability to draft and structure complex capital markets or structured product documentation.

• Capable of creating terms and programs independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to operate autonomously while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams.
