This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Update internal firm systems and external client systems within set timeframes.
• Organize legal documentation by sorting, scanning, categorizing, labeling, and digitally filing.
• Complete tasks from the assigned work queue within specified timelines.
• Understand and retain fundamental legal concepts and terminology to produce precise work products.
• Assist in preparing necessary items for court appearances.
• Review incoming documents and distribute them to the relevant parties.
• Engage in professional communication through phone, email, and both internal and external messaging systems.
• Finish assigned training modules in the Firm LMS punctually.
• Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, client requirements, court rules, and best practices.
• Carry out additional duties as delegated.
• Accept and implement direction from various internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver accurate and timely work products related to creditor-rights matters.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 1-3 years of experience in a data entry or legal assistant position.
• Background in providing administrative or operational support in a legal or office environment.
• Experience in Replevins, Evictions, or Collections.
• Proven track record of working in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with technology-driven environments.
• Proficient in accurate data entry.
• Strong capability to follow basic instructions, job aids, and procedures.
• Ability to comply with Firm policies and apply policy requirements while processing assigned tasks.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently or as part of a team when necessary.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional, responsive, and timely service.
• Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) and tech-savvy.
• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain focus for long durations.
• Proficiency in using computers for a substantial portion of the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements as required for the role (typing, clicking, swiveling).
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
