This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras, +6 more countries.
• Provide paralegal-level support tasks under the guidance and supervision of attorneys
• Engage professionally with clients via email and outbound phone calls
• Assist attorneys with legal and administrative responsibilities related to ongoing client matters
• Carefully review documents and case files to identify any missing or inconsistent information
• Monitor outstanding client information, documents, and follow-up items
• Upload, organize, label, and retrieve case documents within the case management system
• Maintain precise and up-to-date case information in MyCase
• Safeguard confidential client and legal information at all times
• Aid attorneys in keeping organized workflows and adhering to case deadlines
• Facilitate case-related communications between clients and attorneys
• Make outbound calls to clients when additional information, documentation, or case updates are required
• Prepare subpoenas and accompanying documentation as instructed
• Draft, format, review, and organize legal documents following established guidelines and templates
• Address routine client inquiries and concerns while escalating legal issues to the appropriate attorney
• Assist in managing cases, client records, deadlines, and related documentation
• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Case Manager, or in a comparable legal support role is preferred
• Experience executing paralegal-level support tasks under attorney oversight is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Professional proficiency in English is required
• Spanish language skills are welcome but not mandatory
• Candidates with either monolingual English or bilingual English and Spanish abilities may be considered
• Experience in professional communication with clients through phone and written correspondence is required
• Experience in drafting, preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents is preferred
• Familiarity with special education law, special needs planning, or a related legal practice area is advantageous
• Ability to manage confidential client and case information with professionalism and discretion is required
• Required Software: MyCase
• Flexible schedule available between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. CST
