This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Honduras, +6 more countries.
• Adhere to established firm protocols, training resources, and the internal playbook of the firm.
• Arrange hearings for motions.
• Compose professional letters and legal correspondence.
• Monitor critical deadlines and ensure timely execution of assigned responsibilities.
• Manage sensitive client and case information with utmost confidentiality and discretion.
• Provide trauma-informed legal support for clients facing delicate situations.
• Adhere to security protocols to mitigate information security risks.
• Assist in refining and enhancing the firm's training playbook.
• Communicate the status of tasks, priorities, availability, and any challenges encountered.
• Identify potential issues and resolve them independently when suitable.
• Maintain responsiveness and availability during designated working hours.
• Acquire records and follow up on pending records requests.
• Monitor judicial websites in Connecticut.
• Draft and file motions along with other legal documents.
• Remind the attorney of deadlines, appointments, and commitments, holding them accountable.
• Keep case information and documentation organized.
• Assist with minor billing and administrative tasks.
• Support daily case management and administrative requirements.
• Manage and maintain calendars.
• Working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.
• Time zone: Eastern Standard Time.
• Proficient English communication skills with a clear and easily understandable accent are essential.
• Must be capable of managing highly sensitive, confidential, and potentially explicit legal information.
• Strong awareness of confidentiality, information security, and data protection practices.
• Must demonstrate high reliability and responsiveness during working hours.
• Strong judgment is necessary when dealing with confidential information and communications.
• Familiarity with PracticePanther.
• Knowledge of WildX.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong understanding of deadlines and effective prioritization.
• Trustworthy and discreet when handling confidential information.
• Empathetic and patient when interacting with individuals in sensitive circumstances.

• Experience in civil litigation, education law, employment law, human rights, personal injury, or crime victim matters is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, though not mandatory.
