Legal AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of engagements within a designated portfolio of plaintiff law firms, regardless of their current stage: understand the firm’s operations, design tailored agents, and empower their personnel to utilize and enhance these agents themselves, resulting in a transformed, AI-driven firm.

• Guide each firm to achieve their initial full set of live agents, appropriately sized to their actual practice, and cultivate at least one internal builder capable of further development after your departure.

• Transition firms from minimal usage to a state where agents are integrated throughout most of their practice, with this change reflected in usage metrics, not merely in discussions.

• Create reusable workflow diagrams, agent specifications, and playbook templates that expedite each new engagement compared to the previous one.

• Ensure your engagement portfolio is robust enough for the Customer Success Manager (CSM) to transform accounts into referenceable entities, and establish sufficient trust with senior attorneys so that every engagement has a clear internal owner from the outset.

⛳️ Requirements

• A structured discovery instinct: you analyze how work genuinely occurs before making any proposals, distinguishing real workflows from what organizational charts depict.

• Comfortable acting as both advisor and builder: you guide a firm on prioritization and rationale, then configure it yourself instead of passing a specification to someone else.

• Customer Buy-In: you can assert your position with a senior attorney or managing partner and instigate changes they may not have requested.

• Outcomes fluency: you communicate using metrics (utilization, cycle time, cases per attorney), rather than vague phrases like "it went well."

• Ability to create something from an ambiguous directive: this role is still being defined, and you’ll shape as much as you execute.

• A law degree or a comparable qualification: extensive training in a regulated, high-stakes analytical field (consulting, professional services, accounting, or auditing, for example) where you learned to establish credibility quickly.

• Nice to Haves:

• Background in consulting or professional services.

• Experience in a rapidly scaling, ambiguous startup environment.

• Direct experience in plaintiff personal injury, mass tort, or employment litigation.
