Lecturer – IT Specialist for System Integration Retraining (m/f/d)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver lessons aligned with the training framework curriculum.

• Instruct on networking, server and client administration, Windows/Linux systems, virtualization, IT security, as well as hardware and system components.

• Educate participants on the basics of scripting and automation, customer consulting, and IT support.

• Integrate theoretical knowledge with practical examples and interactive techniques such as case studies, lab exercises, and project-based learning.

• Prepare students for the comprehensive IHK final examination, which includes the in-company project and technical interview.

• Conduct regular assessments of progress, offer feedback, and provide personalized learning assistance.

• Develop and maintain teaching resources and digital content, including materials in Moodle and lab environments.

• Continuously refine the curriculum in response to technological advancements and feedback received.

• Keep records of learning progress and attendance.

• Collaborate closely with the teaching team, departmental management, and administrative staff.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, an IT degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics), or a comparable qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, network operations, or server management.

• Proficient knowledge of networking, virtualization, IT security, and widely-used operating systems.

• AEVO certification (AdA certificate) or a commitment to obtain it by December 2026.

• Experience in training apprentices or teaching adult learners.

• Competence with digital tools and learning management systems.

• Organized working approach, excellent communication skills, and a passion for knowledge sharing.

• No disqualifying factors under Section 30 of the German Vocational Training Act (BBiG).

• Documentation of education, AEVO certification, professional experience, and, if applicable, IHK trainer status is required.

• Certifications from organizations such as Cisco, Microsoft, or LPIC are advantageous.
