Leasing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the continuous leasing program initiatives to meet objectives as outlined by organizational goals.

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of lease conditions, specifications, community policies, products, inventory, promotions, market trends, and competitor communities.

• Respond to incoming calls from prospects and leads promptly and professionally while working from a home-based call center.

• Engage with prospects and guide them through the process until a tour is booked and a home is secured within the Corvias portfolio.

• Highlight the advantages of living in Corvias communities and the services available to drive lease agreements.

• Assist potential residents through the leasing process using virtual communication methods.

• Handle residency applications, draft lease agreements and occupancy-related documents, and collect prorated rent, security deposits, and application fees.

• Review and audit applicant waitlists daily and manage home assignments to reduce vacancy loss.

• Address and resolve concerns and issues raised by prospective residents.

• Achieve targets for calls, communication quality, performance, and occupancy while complying with fair housing regulations and relevant laws.

• Foster collaborative relationships with leasing, resident, and on-site team members as well as prospective residents.

• Utilize leasing software and CRM tools to enhance communication, facilitate conversions, and ensure data integrity.

• Coordinate background and credit verifications with external vendors.

• Monitor leasing progress from initial contact through to the finalization of residential lease agreements.

• Ensure a seamless transition from lease signing to move-in inspection with the on-site Community Leasing Associate.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, leasing, hospitality, or customer service.

• Strong active listening skills required to understand prospective renters' needs and identify factors influencing the progress of closing residential lease agreements.

• Outstanding oral and written communication abilities, with the capacity to convey information and ideas clearly and accurately through phone, email, and text.

• Capability to take personal accountability for the quality and promptness of work while achieving results with minimal supervision.

• Must be self-driven, motivated, and possess a positive demeanor, thriving in a remote team environment focused on collaboration and accountability.

• Detail-oriented and process-driven, adhering to program guidelines and standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and operational consistency.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to connect with prospective residents from diverse backgrounds.

• Adaptability to changing circumstances and customer requirements.

• Proactive problem-solving attitude with strong decision-making skills; willing to seek help or guidance when necessary.

• Ability to thrive in a remote setting while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with attention to detail.

• Customer-centric approach with empathy for the customer experience.

• Proficient in computer skills, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.

• Experience with customer relationship management tools to track interactions, manage leads, and follow up effectively.
