This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Provide guidance to project leads, instructional designers, subject matter experts, technology teams, and learning stakeholders regarding deployment.
• Facilitate discovery and consultation meetings to define requirements, timelines, dependencies, approvals, risks, and success measures.
• Evaluate release intake information and address incomplete, unclear, or conflicting requirements.
• Convert learning and business requirements into actionable deployment plans.
• Oversee the complete deployment lifecycle from intake and readiness review to configuration, testing, approval, publication, and closure.
• Deploy or coordinate digital learning content across various platforms including LMS, media, SharePoint, content portals, and collaboration tools.
• Configure learning objects, curricula, pathways, media assets, pages, links, permissions, metadata, audiences, dates, and completion criteria.
• Manage source files, translations, accessibility requirements, assessments, evaluations, and supporting resources.
• Conduct pre-release and post-release quality validation; troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate deployment issues as necessary.
• Keep comprehensive records of deployment decisions, approvals, testing, and completion.
• Create and manage virtual classroom sessions, encompassing access, participant settings, invitations, engagement features, and materials.
• Collaborate with facilitators and producers to ensure session readiness and conduct rehearsals.
• Assist with polls, quizzes, knowledge checks, attendance tracking, and participant engagement activities.
• Extract and reconcile attendance and interaction data and compile completion information.
• Generate and verify survey and evaluation links.
• Produce both recurring and ad hoc reports across learning, media, survey, content, and collaboration platforms.
• Analyze, consolidate, and reconcile data; investigate discrepancies and document limitations.
• Prepare reporting outputs and summaries; maintain schedules, templates, and instructions.
• Adhere to governance requirements regarding naming, metadata, version control, accessibility, privacy, security, records management, and release readiness.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and maintain evidence of processes.
• Monitor intake channels and deployment mailboxes, triage requests, assign ownership, and facilitate timely responses.
• Update deployment guides, job aids, FAQs, templates, knowledge repositories, and onboarding materials.
• Contribute to testing, release readiness, issue investigation, operational acceptance, and continuous improvement of learning technologies.
• Utilize approved AI and automation tools to support meeting preparation, summaries, notes, action items, status updates, document reviews, reporting, quality reviews, and documentation, ensuring human validation.
• Identify repetitive tasks that can be enhanced through safe, repeatable AI or automation improvements.
• Lead deployment meetings, consultations, readiness reviews, and retrospectives.
• Set agendas, make decisions, assign owners, establish actions, and follow up on outcomes.
• Engage in capacity planning and priority discussions, highlighting constraints and risks early on.
• Collaborate across functions, platforms, and time zones while contributing to knowledge sharing and feedback.
• Relevant post-secondary education in Learning and Development, Education, Learning Technology, Information Technology, Business, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• At least three years of experience in learning technologies, digital learning operations, learning deployment, LMS administration, or a closely related area.
• Practical experience in deploying and administering learning content across multiple technology types, including LMS, media solutions, SharePoint, or other content portals, virtual classroom platforms, survey or evaluation tools, or collaboration environments.
• Experience in supporting end-to-end learning releases, encompassing requirements gathering, configuration, testing, quality assurance, publication, reporting, and issue resolution.
• Proven ability to consult with stakeholders and convert business or learning requirements into effective deployment activities.
• Proficiency in leading working meetings, consultations, and deployment discussions.
• Familiarity with digital learning modalities, content standards, metadata, accessibility, privacy, permissions, and reporting concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Copilot, or similar AI-assisted productivity tools, used responsibly with quality control.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and aptitude for identifying inconsistencies and dependencies prior to release.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective planning, organization, and prioritization capabilities.
• Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professional judgment, including the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Strong learning agility and capacity to quickly become proficient in new technologies, platforms, features, and operating models.
