This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate account strategies, territory plans, and administrative procedures to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement quarterly business plans that align with marketing strategies, account evaluations, cross-functional teamwork, and customer insights.
• Identify and pursue new accounts and business development opportunities.
• Acquire new customers through field activities, initial and repeat orders, and organized daily and weekly schedules.
• Achieve sales revenue at or above targeted margins through effective business development.
• Maintain customer relationships before, during, and after the sales process.
• Collaborate with Learning Experience Coordinators and Interior Designers in the sales process to create Prosocial Learning Environments/Experiences.
• Engage with schools, districts, architectural firms, and community stakeholders to build consensus and drive change.
• Oversee client renewals and manage ongoing relationships.
• Coordinate with support teams during project fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Acquire expertise in products and learning experiences, effectively communicating product information to customers.
• Travel three or more days per week.
• Deliver presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Complete sales reporting as required.
• Participate in trade shows and trade organizations for networking and professional growth.
• Generate revenue at target margins through developing a qualified pipeline, acquiring target clients, and fostering long-term customer relationships.
• Consultative selling approach focused on assessing prospects' budget, authority, need, and timing.
• Self-motivated individual capable of independent work.
• Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience with proven results.
• Experience in the K-12 education market is advantageous.
• Willingness and ability to seek out new business opportunities.
• Proficient in managing a large account pipeline efficiently.
• Skills in prospecting, territory management, time management, presentations, negotiation, closing, problem-solving, and customer service.
• Experience in identifying, qualifying, and closing B2B deals ranging from $5,000 to over $50,000.
• Ability to think, plan, and execute strategically.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, web searching, and other business applications.
• Willingness to travel three or more days per week.
• Capability to meet the stated physical demands, including occasional lifting or moving up to 25 pounds.
