This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Formulate account strategies, plan territories, and manage administrative duties to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Create and utilize quarterly business plans that align with marketing strategies through account evaluation, cross-functional teamwork, and insights from customers.
• Identify new accounts and pursue business development opportunities.
• Acquire new customers through field activities, initial and repeat orders, and systematic daily and weekly sales scheduling.
• Drive and elevate sales revenue to meet or exceed target margins through business development efforts.
• Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process and beyond.
• Collaborate with Learning Experience Coordinators and Interior Designers during the sales process to foster Prosocial Learning Environments/Experiences.
• Engage with school, district, architectural, and community stakeholders to build consensus and facilitate change.
• Oversee existing client renewals and maintain relationships.
• Work with support teams during project execution to ensure client satisfaction.
• Cultivate expertise in products and learning experiences while positioning Meteor's offerings for clients.
• Travel more than 3 days per week.
• Deliver presentations and product demonstrations.
• Complete necessary sales reporting.
• Participate in trade shows and professional organizations for networking and development.
• Generate revenue in assigned accounts at the company’s target margin by establishing a qualified pipeline, securing target clients, and nurturing long-term customer relationships.
• Consultative selling approach with a focus on assessing prospect budget, authority, need, and timing.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
• Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience with proven results.
• Experience in the K-12 education market is an advantage.
• Proven ability and eagerness to seek out new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing a substantial account pipeline effectively.
• Skills in prospecting, territory management, time management, presentations, negotiation, closing, problem-solving, and customer service.
• Experience in identifying, qualifying, and closing B2B deals ranging from $5,000 to over $50,000.
• Capacity to think, plan, and act strategically.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Proficient in business applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and web searching.
• Must reside in the San Antonio or Victoria, Texas areas.
• Must be ready to travel more than 3 days a week.
