
Lean Services Associate – Travel Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Assist in Lean implementation efforts for smaller construction projects, providing coaching and oversight.
• Aid project teams during initial planning phases and guide them towards taking ownership of planning routines.
• Facilitate the delivery of introductory training on Lean principles and the Last Planner System.
• Help prepare training materials and learning activities tailored to specific projects.
• Mentor project teams in the application of Last Planner System behaviors and planning methodologies.
• Emphasize the importance of planning discipline and reliability in commitments.
• Assist with the setup, data collection, and documentation for the Team Health Survey.
• Support retrospectives by documenting actions and identifying improvement themes.
• Help coordinate logistics for partnering efforts, Collaborative Design Sessions, and team alignment meetings.
• Participate in breakout activities without leading sessions independently.
• Provide constructive feedback on Lean Edge tools, templates, and materials.
• Assist in the pilot testing of new tools or processes.
• Travel to company and subsidiary offices, as well as client, subcontractor, and supplier meetings, across North America.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in implementing Lean practices in construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred experience in collaborative planning and facilitation settings.
• Must be open to traveling to project sites across North America for extended durations (up to 85%).
• Preferably knowledgeable about Lean philosophy, the purpose of the Last Planner System, and CPM/Last Planner System integration.
• Familiarity with Touchplan or other management tools related to the Last Planner System is preferred.
• Expected to maintain regular and dependable in-person attendance as required by the Supervisor, Company policies, and/or project and office commitments.
