📋 Description

• Take ownership of the leadership capability strategy and roadmap, aligning business priorities with clear ownership, sequenced investments, and measurable outcomes.

• Evaluate current leadership expectations, onboarding, development practices, talent data, business performance, and existing resources; identify critical capability gaps and recommend areas for building, buying, adapting, or discontinuing efforts.

• Develop FreedomCare’s leadership philosophy and competency model featuring observable behaviors and distinct expectations.

• Design a comprehensive leadership lifecycle that encompasses selection, onboarding, manager development, performance management, coaching, succession planning, and internal mobility.

• Establish enterprise standards for leadership onboarding and essential management practices.

• Create actionable development pathways that leverage business challenges, repeated practice, feedback, coaching, and real-world application.

• Oversee the leadership development portfolio from conception to scaling, including pilots, prioritization, governance, budgeting, vendor management, technology, communication, adoption, and program decisions.

• Generate executive governance and sponsorship for leadership capability initiatives.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to co-design solutions, integrate tools into operational rhythms, reduce friction, and showcase value.

• Develop a measurement system for assessing leadership effectiveness, including baselines, targets, talent indicators, business outcomes, scorecards, and investment improvements.

• Secure executive approval for a leadership philosophy, competency model, current-state baseline, and multi-year roadmap within the inaugural year.

• Implement a standardized leadership onboarding process and monitor adoption, completion, quality, and time-to-effectiveness.

• Enhance priority leadership behaviors by utilizing feedback from managers, employees, and multi-rater assessments.

• Boost succession coverage, internal fill rates, promotion success, and retention of high-value leaders.

• Illustrate the correlation between leadership investments and metrics such as engagement, regrettable attrition, team performance, and operational results.

• Execute priority initiatives on schedule and within budget, expand reusable solutions, and redesign or discontinue low-value tasks.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, industrial-organizational psychology, human resources, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience.

• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in leadership development, talent management, organizational development, or organizational effectiveness.

• At least 3 years of experience directing the design, launch, and expansion of enterprise leadership development initiatives or managing a portfolio that serves various leadership levels.

• Proven experience in building a leadership development system from scratch or significantly transforming one in a rapidly growing or changing organization.

• Experience in creating a leadership philosophy, competency model, or success framework and translating it into observable expectations, assessments, tools, and development pathways.

• Proven ability to design differentiated approaches for frontline, mid-level, senior, and executive leaders.

• Proficient in utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to identify leadership gaps, establish priorities, measure behavioral change, and inform investment decisions.

• Experience working in a high-growth, operationally demanding environment where speed, judgment, and practicality were crucial.

• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies.

• Capability to conduct enterprise needs assessments through stakeholder interviews, employee and leader feedback, talent data, and operational performance indicators.

• Skill in translating business strategy into leadership requirements, competency models, development priorities, and a sequenced multi-year roadmap.

• Proven program and portfolio management capabilities, including governance, budgeting, vendor management, technology integration, pilot programs, implementation, communication, and adoption strategies.

• Ability to establish enterprise standards that ensure consistency while allowing for appropriate flexibility.

• Ability to define meaningful measures of leadership effectiveness.

• Strong communication skills, including presenting recommendations, clarifying trade-offs, facilitating decisions, and influencing without authority.

• An advanced degree or recognized leadership development or coaching certification is preferred.

• Experience supporting emerging or first-time leaders is highly preferred.

• Experience in healthcare, a regulated industry, or a distributed workforce is valuable, but not mandatory.
