This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the daily operations of project personnel to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.
• Lead project teams and offer guidance throughout the duration of projects.
• Address technical inquiries, conduct technical reviews, comprehend client-specific protocols, and train project personnel.
• Direct, support, and provide technical guidance to project teams; assess work progress and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist management with overall program direction, project completion, and budget oversight.
• Manage the coordination of resources on-site.
• Liaise with client representatives on-site and organize team schedules and roles.
• Handle multiple tasks and projects across various programs simultaneously.
• Maintain communication regarding project status with management and report any actual or potential issues, along with delivery updates.
• Represent Bureau Veritas during client-specific project meetings.
• Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Plan, organize, and convey project timelines effectively.
• Conduct contract administration and review change orders.
• Review reports and ensure quality control/assurance.
• Safeguard confidential company information.
• Deliver prompt customer service and proactive solutions for clients.
• Train field staff on client-specific programs and protocols.
• Monitor and report on the progress of Technical Assessor programs using both client-specific and internal tracking systems.
• Conduct on-site training for new team members and share techniques for accessing units.
• Travel approximately 90% of the time to client/project locations across the U.S.; on-site assignments may extend up to two weeks, including possible overnight and weekend travel.
• Review overdue report lists and formulate action plans for any deficiencies.
• Communicate with assigned trainees about upcoming work, travel arrangements, protocol checklists, project work plans, timelines, and reports.
• Evaluate N-1 schedules for capacity opportunities.
• Review timesheets, confirm billability, conduct weekly check-ins, manage spot report reviews, approve expenses, and participate in weekly leadership calls.
• Maintain one-on-one meetings and document them in ProTrack.
• Complete HSE and assigned training while monitoring N-1 training.
• Directly and indirectly supervise employees, including training, task assignments, performance evaluations, and handling complaints and problem resolutions.
• Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a related field; a minimum of three to five years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, five to seven years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required, with no significant points or violations (clean driving record).
• Expertise as a designated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Technical Assessor level programs, including FedGov, data aggregation, barcoding, and other designated programs.
• Capability to write reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
• Proficient in presenting information and responding to inquiries from clients, colleagues, and technical field staff.
• Ability to identify problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw sound conclusions.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and project management software.
• Capability to operate an electronic tablet in the field for real-time data collection.
• Understanding of construction materials and methods, environmental issues, cost estimation, and industry standards.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects effectively.
• Ability to inspire, develop, and lead individuals.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
• Must possess a cell phone and provide personal internet service.
• Must meet physical demands, including walking, standing, climbing, crawling, lifting up to 40 pounds, and driving a motor vehicle.
• Ability to successfully work from a remote location.
• Ability to travel by plane, motor vehicle, and train to client/project sites throughout the U.S.
• Must maintain a billability rate of at least 80%.
