Lead Tech Recruiter, LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Identify and attract talent in Data & AI through job boards, social media, networking, and talent pools.

• Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to hiring.

• Serve as an informal lead for the LATAM recruiting team in collaboration with the VP of Talent Acquisition.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to recruiters on sourcing, screening, and enhancing candidate experience.

• Establish weekly priorities and manage requisitions across the team.

• Monitor pipeline and recruiting metrics, sharing updates and risks with the VP of Talent Acquisition.

• Share effective practices and enhance recruiting processes.

• Recruit for positions such as Data Engineers, Solutions Architects, Machine Learning Engineers, Full Stack Developers, and Technical Product Managers.

• Conduct interviews to evaluate technical skills, consulting abilities, cultural fit, and overall potential.

• Collaborate with hiring managers and delivery leaders to comprehend role requirements.

• Foster and maintain candidate relationships, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.

• Stay updated on Data & AI trends, the Databricks ecosystem, and competitive recruitment strategies.

• Manage multiple roles while guaranteeing a positive candidate experience.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in recruiting for tech roles.

• More than 2 years of experience leading a small recruiting team, either formally or informally.

• Proven experience in coaching and mentoring junior recruiters.

• Background in setting team priorities and distributing requisitions among team members.

• Familiarity with using recruiting metrics to monitor progress and inform team decisions.

• Experience recruiting across multiple countries in LATAM.

• Knowledge of recruiting within a consulting or professional services environment.

• Demonstrated success in recruiting for Data & AI roles, such as Data Engineers, Solutions Architects, Machine Learning Engineers, Full Stack Developers, and Technical Product Managers.

• Capability to grasp technical concepts and evaluate technical skills during screening.

• A pragmatic problem-solving mindset with a focus on practical outcomes.

• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about new technologies and markets.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work independently and navigate through ambiguity.

• Skill in prioritizing and managing multiple roles at once.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Familiarity with Databricks and the modern data platform landscape is a plus.
