Lead Systems Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the principal technical authority and Lead System Architect for enterprise Pega implementations.

• Provide architectural guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring that solutions are aligned with business goals and the organization's technology strategy.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.

• Design and manage Pega integrations with both enterprise systems and third-party technologies.

• Oversee application architecture, deployment strategies, performance enhancement, and infrastructure alignment.

• Set and uphold development standards, coding best practices, and Pega guardrails.

• Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews.

• Ensure adherence to information security policies, accessibility standards, and regulatory obligations.

• Coordinate and supervise Pega vendor service requests while overseeing issue resolution.

• Manage platform-level defects, including Section 508 accessibility concerns, and drive their remediation.

• Diagnose complex production issues and offer strategic performance recommendations.

• Mentor and guide developers, Senior System Architects, and development teams.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions within project timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or enterprise application development.

• Current Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) Certification is mandatory.

• Extensive experience with the Pega Infinity Platform and Pega Version 8.x.

• Familiarity with the Constellation UX Design System.

• Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles, system integrations, networking concepts, and security frameworks.

• Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing large-scale application development projects.

• Experience in conducting design reviews, code reviews, and solution governance activities.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capable of working effectively in a fully remote, collaborative setting.

• Preferred: experience with Pega eForms development and implementation.

• Preferred: experience with PDF generation, document automation, and content generation solutions.

• Preferred: knowledge of accessibility standards and Section 508 compliance requirements.

• Preferred: experience supporting government, regulated, or large enterprise environments.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Preferred: Master's degree.
