This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee internal IT operations for equivant from start to finish.
• Lead the migration of equivant onto a dedicated Microsoft 365 tenant, which includes planning the cutover, coordinating execution, and managing the resulting environment.
• Administer Exchange Online, SharePoint and OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft 365 licensing.
• Manage identity and access across Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, which encompasses SSO, MFA, conditional access, and the lifecycle of joiners, movers, and leavers.
• Drive consolidation towards Okta while maintaining the current Entra ID environment during the transition.
• Oversee the Windows endpoint fleet using Microsoft Intune, including provisioning, configuration, patching, and compliance baselines.
• Manage service desk operations, which include Zendesk ticket triage and resolution, onboarding and offboarding of employees, and hardware asset lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with technical services and security on the interface between corporate IT and hosted product environments.
• Coordinate with the parent company's operating group personnel during decentralization and manage vendor and licensing relationships.
• Support SOC 2 and CJIS Security Policy compliance through access reviews, logging, endpoint hardening, and audit evidence collection.
• Manage change, incident, and request processes utilizing Zendesk and Jira; maintain runbooks and technical documentation.
• Participate in after-hours incident support as required.
• Supervise the internal service desk.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in systems administration or corporate IT, including experience leading or mentoring others or managing a service desk function.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and licensing.
• Proven experience in planning and executing a Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migration or a comparable large-scale tenant or directory migration.
• Experience in identity and access administration with Okta and/or Microsoft Entra ID, including SSO (SAML/OIDC), MFA, and conditional access.
• Experience managing Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation, primarily with PowerShell.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as Jira and Zendesk.
• Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to complete the vetting required by the FBI CJIS Security Policy and applicable state or agency requirements, including a fingerprint-based background investigation.
• Potential travel of approximately 5%.
• May be required to provide after-hours support for incidents.
• Preferred qualifications include Microsoft 365 or Okta certifications, experience with multi-entity/corporate carve-outs, exposure to SOC 2, familiarity with Microsoft Purview, and experience in regulated/public sector/justice software.
