This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead a unified team of Advanced Customer Engagement and National Key Account Directors in achieving Specialty Care business-unit objectives.
• Establish the strategic, analytical, and operational vision for the Specialty Care National Key Account organization.
• Provide direct leadership to the NKAD and ACE Director teams.
• Oversee strategic, operational, and portfolio activities across aligned national key account customers and Supergroups.
• Generate business insights and convert healthcare issues and customer drivers into prioritized opportunities.
• Coordinate resource allocation and cross-brand operational matters, including meetings, training, compliance, and business technology.
• Guide ACE Directors in creating patient-focused solutions and enhancing customer engagement through the Integrated Account Team process.
• Direct plans for the implementation, communication, and improvement of patient care using goals, KPIs, and customer capabilities.
• Foster operational excellence in account planning, IAT materials, tools, and compliant communication of impact.
• Monitor customer goal progress, adjust plans accordingly, and advocate for best practices regarding Brand and RCM resources.
• Lead NKADs to achieve targeted outcomes for the Specialty Care portfolio across national health systems and member organizations.
• Collaborate with prioritized national customers and stakeholders to fulfill needs and generate net revenue for Pfizer.
• Oversee team performance and development through guidance, prioritization, coaching, and feedback.
• Conduct business reviews, establish performance objectives, and spearhead cross-functional projects.
• Drive culture initiatives and manage planning for awards and recognition.
• Lead critical business projects, eliminate obstacles, and promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Pfizer business units and functional partners, including Market Access, Government Affairs, Legal & Compliance, Medical, Commercial Effectiveness, and Brand Marketing.
• Stay informed about healthcare industry trends, quality measures, HIT, healthcare reform, payers, and stakeholder interdependencies.
• Analyze organizational metrics, data, and market dynamics to prioritize opportunities and develop business plans.
• Be prepared for significant travel, exceeding 30%, due to HQ, engagement, and customer-facing responsibilities.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in US pharmaceutical/biotech sectors in sales, key account management, and/or HQ functions.
• Proven leadership experience, demonstrating success in managing diverse teams across various disciplines.
• Extensive experience in health system, MG, IDN sales, account management, or other customer-facing roles.
• Capability to develop insights, strategy, and tactical plans.
• Proficient in developing and motivating others and leading through change.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to navigate across Pfizer to fulfill business-unit objectives.
• Comfortable collaborating with senior leaders and creating senior leadership presentations.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent project and program management skills.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• A valid US driver's license and a compliant driving record; any DUI/DWI or similar citation within the past 7 years will disqualify candidates.
• Willingness to travel overnight as required by business needs.
• An MBA is preferred.
• Over 5 years of experience in operations, analytics, strategy, marketing, and/or organizational strategy leadership is preferred.
• Prior local and/or in-line marketing experience is advantageous.
• Experience leading teams focused on large organized customers and key member organizations is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. by any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
