This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Gather and analyze data related to sourcing activities through reports, data assessments, and engagement with stakeholders.
• Serve as a Buyer for Projects and Parts when necessary.
• Oversee supplier and commodity operations, discover new supply sources, and initiate cost-reduction strategies.
• Lead sourcing and procurement efforts for designated commodities and suppliers throughout the Americas market.
• Manage supplier quotes, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and establish framework agreements.
• Issue purchase orders and assist throughout the complete lifecycle of various orders.
• Enhance regional sourcing KPIs such as on-time delivery, savings, deflation, payment terms, cost of failure, and product cost reduction.
• Collaborate with the Tendering team to recommend suppliers, fulfill proposal delivery needs, and oversee cost-reduction negotiations.
• Organize supplier selection, development, and categorization processes.
• Create reports, analyze spending, and pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction and improved cash flow.
• Formulate and execute sourcing and procurement strategies alongside global Project, Parts, and strategic sourcing teams.
• Manage the procure-to-pay procedure and address any invoice issues.
• Foster an inclusive, diverse, and respectful team environment.
• At least 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and tendering.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills such as formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
• Strong negotiation and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to establish robust relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in English.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Experience using SAP and Tableau.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to develop and implement multiple strategic sourcing initiatives concurrently.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive.
