Category Manager

📋 Description

• Oversee the acquisition of indirect goods and services, encompassing both capital and operational expenditures.

• Assess sourcing requirements and engage in sourcing, negotiation, contract review, and supplier performance management.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill business needs.

• Ensure the lowest total cost of ownership while maintaining quality and service standards.

• Plan, organize, lead, and implement indirect sourcing projects.

• Strategically partner with stakeholders to define and address business requirements.

• Cultivate supplier relationships and oversee the performance of key suppliers.

• Work with internal clients on bid and quote collection strategies along with budgetary processes.

• Pinpoint supplier rationalization and leverage opportunities.

• Advocate for procurement processes and nurture relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, affiliates, and industry organizations.

• Negotiate contracts and spearhead negotiation strategies with business partners.

• Enhance processes related to RFx, bid analysis, purchasing strategy, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and contract management.

• Monitor market and industry trends, indices, and benchmarking tools.

• Mentor and develop team members.

• Maintain and communicate strategies for various categories.
