This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Oversee a compact Delivery team comprising customer-facing Solution Managers and Technical Implementation/Systems Integration Engineers for a single account or a group of related locations.
β’ Stay actively involved as the primary account manager for at least one location.
β’ Manage account cadence at a higher level than the site, including leading steering committees and conducting quarterly and annual business reviews.
β’ Direct technical initiatives by assessing methods, questioning modeling or integration choices, and concentrating the team on achieving customer results.
β’ Support customers in the process of adoption and self-modeling across multiple sites.
β’ Ensure that implemented solutions continue to provide value as processes and economic conditions change.
β’ Establish and quantify the customer value narrative based on an agreed framework.
β’ Conduct office hours, training sessions, and working groups with customer engineering teams.
β’ Mentor team members through goal-setting, one-on-one discussions, feedback, and performance evaluation cycles.
β’ Manage resource allocation across various sites.
β’ Collaborate with Account Directors on renewal strategies, growth opportunities, and overall commercial health.
β’ 7+ years of professional experience, including time spent in or serving heavy industrial sectors like refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, NGL, mining, cement, or pulp and paper.
β’ 1β3 years of proven people management experience, with responsibility for team performance, employee development, and feedback.
β’ Demonstrated ability to own a customer's results post go-live, including forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, embedded customer engineering, technical account management, or consulting for industrial clients.
β’ Strong desire and aptitude for management.
β’ Experience in leading multi-site or enterprise accounts.
β’ Comfortable presenting to and interacting with executive-level stakeholders.
β’ Willingness to travel 20β25% as necessary.
β’ Keen interest and capability in leadership and mentoring.
β’ Strategic account mindset, including managing expectations, addressing challenging conversations, and converting skeptics into supporters.
β’ In-depth knowledge of heavy industrial processes, control systems, and optimization principles.
β’ Proficient in teaching and empowering customer engineers in both group and individual settings.
β’ Effective at influencing and aligning stakeholders without formal authority.
β’ Clear, concise, and confident in both written and verbal communication.
β’ BSc in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
