Lead Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical vision aligned with enterprise architecture and product engineering for product design, development, deployment, and operationalization.

• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams throughout the product lifecycle to offer expertise and guidance on deployment, monitoring, logging, scaling, security, and business continuity.

• Develop standardized solutions and architectural blueprints for applications, infrastructure, and supporting services.

• Specify technologies and architecture for both internal and public cloud deployments.

• Foster relationships with client technical counterparts through solution scoping and planning discussions.

• Assist in crafting proposals that address current and evolving client needs.

• Mentor and transfer knowledge to team members.

• Train staff and offer on-the-job support and mentoring.

• Conduct training sessions for customer personnel when authorized by management.

• Aid sales teams by providing new solutions and pricing for emerging opportunities.

• Work in collaboration with architects in Operations, Engineering, IT, and Customer Service.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS architectures.

• Capability to apply cloud architecture concepts to OpenText, public-cloud, and on-premise solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of mixed operating-system environments.

• Familiarity with structured, unstructured, and distributed data platforms.

• Ability to transfer concepts from one data-service API to another.

• Comprehension of system hardware, storage subsystems, networking, common data protocols, and APIs.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and technologies such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, and Python.

• Strong experience with relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Active high-level security clearance in the UK.
