Lead Software Engineer – Order-to-Cash

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer technical guidance while actively collaborating with software engineers

• Take ownership of use-case identification and swift prototyping of AI and technology initiatives

• Spearhead the implementation of an AI-First software development lifecycle encompassing discovery, design, coding, testing, code reviews, and delivery

• Develop order-to-cash solutions and integrations spanning billing, credit, collections, cash application, and reconciliation systems

• Enhance receivables automation and cash flow through automation, AI, and contemporary application design

• Design, create, test, deploy, and maintain applications, APIs, and integrations

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable solutions

• Direct technical design and architecture for scalable, secure, and reliable solutions

• Manage delivery priorities, mitigate risks and dependencies, and communicate progress and results

• Create reusable integration patterns, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering standards

• Advocate for AI-assisted development, specification-driven development, automated testing, AI code reviews, and intelligent workflows

• Diagnose complex production and integration challenges while preserving data integrity and business value

• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and offer technical support

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent applicable professional experience

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and delivering custom web, mobile, enterprise, or integration solutions

• At least 4 years of full-stack development experience

• Proven technical leadership experience through mentoring, code reviews, design direction, architecture, and ownership of delivery

• Extensive hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js

• Background in developing backend services using Python and/or Rust

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MongoDB

• Experience with integrating financial and accounts-receivable systems across order-to-cash, billing, credit, collections, cash application, and reconciliation

• Proficient in designing and utilizing secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub, GitLab CI, or Jenkins

• History of collaboration with Product Managers, Architects, and business stakeholders

• Demonstrated interest or experience in leveraging AI to enhance delivery and identify/prototype AI use cases

• Ability to convey technical decisions, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Familiarity with C#/.NET is a bonus
