Lead Software Engineer – B2B Scores

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-performance, low-latency services utilizing Java, C++, Groovy, and Python.

• Enhance services for maximum throughput and reliability within B2B Scores projects for both internal and external clients.

• Contribute to the architecture and DevOps strategy utilizing AWS services.

• Containerize applications using Docker and oversee Kubernetes clusters.

• Provide guidance to junior engineers through code reviews, collaborative design, and hands-on project leadership.

• Collaborate with senior engineers to deliver intricate, mission-critical solutions.

• Work alongside Analytics, Data, and Product Management teams to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Employ authorized AI coding assistants for scaffolding, test generation, refactoring, cross-language ports, and initial documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in software development and delivery.

• Proficient coding abilities in Java, C, C++, or .Net/C#.

• Familiarity with DevOps technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of modern design principles, including MVC frameworks, abstract factory patterns, design patterns, class diagrams, and ER diagrams.

• Expertise in developing and deploying software products throughout the SDLC process.

• Strong understanding of database concepts and programming, including SQL Workbench and SQL queries.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git and BitBucket.

• Background in maintaining and updating product source code.

• Ability to write product specifications, document product features, and present them effectively.

• Capable of collaborating effectively within a geographically dispersed team.

• Experience with Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and test automation is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AWS technologies including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Load Balancers is a plus.

• Experience with Python or Groovy is also a plus.
