Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and design of a new multi-tenant reporting platform utilizing AWS serverless technologies.

• Engage in hands-on development with Python, TypeScript, SQL, and AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and more.

• Create AI-driven pipelines that extract, translate, and validate business logic as well as report parameter screens from the existing platform.

• Establish coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies across the engineering team.

• Guide senior and mid-level engineers; perform design and code evaluations.

• Collaborate with Product, Data, QA, and Architecture teams to ensure alignment of technical and business objectives.

• Assess and suggest emerging AI technologies and frameworks to enhance automation capabilities.

• Guarantee the platform's scalability, security, tenant isolation, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure serverless architectures.

• Expert-level knowledge of Python and TypeScript.

• Previous experience utilizing AI for code generation, metadata extraction, or workflow automation.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Proven experience in developing or integrating AI-driven systems (e.g., LLMs, embeddings, AI agents, transformation pipelines).

• Solid background in distributed systems, data pipelines, or modernizing legacy platforms.

• Demonstrated leadership in technical strategy and mentoring.

• Experience in designing or managing multi-tenant platforms (preferred).

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architecture patterns (preferred).

• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills (preferred).

• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
