Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the architecture and design of a new multi-tenant reporting platform utilizing AWS serverless technologies.

• Engage in hands-on development with Python, TypeScript, SQL, and various AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway.

• Create AI-driven pipelines that extract, transform, and validate business logic along with report parameter screens from the legacy system.

• Establish coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies throughout the engineering team.

• Guide and mentor senior and mid-level engineers while conducting design and code reviews.

• Collaborate with Product, Data, QA, and Architecture teams to ensure alignment of technical and business needs.

• Assess and propose emerging AI technologies and frameworks to enhance automation capabilities.

• Guarantee platform scalability, security, tenant isolation, and operational excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure serverless architectures.

• Expert-level proficiency in Python and TypeScript.

• Previous experience in utilizing AI for code generation, metadata extraction, or workflow automation.

• Strong foundation in SQL.

• Proven experience in building or integrating AI-driven systems (including LLMs, embeddings, AI agents, and transformation pipelines).

• Solid experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, or the modernization of legacy platforms.

• Demonstrated leadership in technical strategy and mentoring.

• Experience in designing or operating multi-tenant platforms (preferred).

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT architecture patterns (preferred).

• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills (preferred).

• Experience with Oracle is a plus.
