Lead Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and manage reliable Go microservices and Angular applications.

• Create and sustain RESTful APIs adhering to OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

• Construct scalable Angular user interfaces and contribute to shared component libraries.

• Deploy independently functioning services utilizing Kubernetes and Helm.

• Establish unit, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing strategies.

• Tackle complex full-stack technical challenges and make architectural decisions across microservices.

• Participate in sprint planning, ticket refinement, implementation, peer reviews, and demos.

• Propel technical initiatives and shape the technical direction across the platform.

• Explore LLMs, agentic tools, and features integrated with AI.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and fellow developers.

• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, including work on production systems.

• Extensive experience with Go for backend development, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

• Proficient in Angular, ideally Angular 15+, and TypeScript.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture, service discovery, inter-service communication, and distributed system patterns.

• Experience in REST API design and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.

• Proficient with MySQL in production, including schema design and query optimization.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and contemporary Kubernetes deployment practices.

• Experienced with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks.

• Comfortable working in AWS or similar cloud environments.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to assess tradeoffs affecting multiple services.

• Passion for learning and utilizing AI tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (preferred).
