Lead Software Engineer, AI Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop a quarterly portfolio of embedded initiatives to assist Root teams in leveraging AI effectively.

• Steer the team through workflow identification and platform education with clear specifications and sustainable AI Platform enhancements.

• Safeguard resources for reusable capabilities, adoption strategies, and team methodologies.

• Link AI Platform, product engineering, data, security, and business collaborators around mutual investment prospects.

• Establish repeatable models of engagement and playbooks to facilitate AI adoption.

• Mentor engineers in technical discernment, curiosity, empathy, and the communication of intricate AI concepts.

• Enhance visibility of team results by reporting on adoption progress, challenges, and forthcoming actions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a software engineer.

• At least 1 year of experience leading software teams or significant technical projects.

• Proven capability to guide team-level delivery of both customer-facing and internal technical solutions.

• Proficiency in AI tools and technologies, along with practical insights regarding responsible deployment and adoption.

• Strong product judgment: able to assess opportunities, define success criteria, and make trade-offs within a quarterly timeframe.

• Experience collaborating directly with diverse users and influencing stakeholders towards improved workflows and results.

• Ability to manage multiple initiatives and inter-team dependencies while maintaining focus and resource allocation.

• A coaching-oriented approach and a history of assisting colleagues in enhancing their technical and collaborative skills.

• Effective written and verbal communication that fosters shared understanding among team members and stakeholders.
