This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Evaluate the security posture of Akamai's extensive network and product offerings.
• Analyze cloud, network, infrastructure, and application architectures for adherence to security and compliance standards.
• Convert requirements into technical documentation, security blueprints, and engineering guidelines.
• Assist in compliance initiatives, control evaluations, and audits utilizing Akamai's standardized control framework.
• Collaborate with engineering and InfoSec teams to assess security vulnerabilities and outline remediation strategies.
• Enhance the implementation and oversight of security controls through the use of AI and automation.
• A bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 8 years of pertinent experience, or an equivalent level of professional expertise.
• Significant experience in evaluating security across cloud environments, internet technologies, infrastructure, applications, and data governance.
• In-depth knowledge of PCI DSS standards, control evaluation, and audit assistance.
• Demonstrated experience in designing security architectures and control frameworks for distributed systems.
