Lead Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist – Construction Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program across all phases of the project.

• Perform regular audits of contractor operations.

• Ensure that contractors are using the most current revisions of design documents.

• Supervise the proper storage and upkeep of materials and equipment.

• Review and assess construction test reports and compliance documents.

• Provide oversight for construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Verify that all quality records and 'as-built' documentation are accurately maintained.

• Compile and present quality audit findings and performance metrics to project management.

• Assist contractors in the pre-planning of their quality control procedures.

• Accurately document observations from tests and inspections.

• Monitor and follow up on non-conformance reports.

• Regularly summarize and report on QA/QC performance statistics.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, operations, and maintenance in the power generation sector.

• Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices associated with power plant construction, operations, maintenance, and safety.

• Understanding of ASME code welding.

• Familiarity with National Boiler Vessel or repair alterations.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to travel and work in various locations throughout the United States as necessary.

• Acceptable certifications include: NCCER welding/pipefitter, AWS-SCWI (Welding Inspector), AWS-CRI (Certified Radiographer Interpreter), ASNT Level II VT.
