This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee the comprehensive QA strategy for web, Android/iOS platforms, and APIs.
• Conduct black box, white box, integration, and performance testing on web and Android/iOS platforms.
• Monitor and document product issues, analyze problems, and offer corrective feedback.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test reports based on feature requirements.
• Disseminate test-related information among team members.
• Mimic user needs and real-world usage scenarios.
• Engage in team discussions to clarify and challenge requirements and acceptance criteria for better testability.
• Generate automated test cases for web, mobile, and APIs.
• Monitor and assess automated tests to enhance efficiency.
• Create automated tests and testing frameworks.
• Optimize the Continuous Integration pipeline.
• Assist in automating software engineering processes.
• Review designs and code, offering constructive feedback.
• Continuously enhance technical skills.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance or establish quality processes.
• Minimum of 5 years in QA engineering with comprehensive testing experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading QA teams or initiatives.
• Strong understanding of unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, stress/performance, and API testing.
• Experience in manual testing for web, Android, iOS, and APIs.
• Familiarity with web debugging and API testing tools, such as Chrome DevTools and Postman.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases, ideally MySQL.
• Extensive experience with Python.
• Knowledge of automation testing with REST APIs.
• Experience in test automation for Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Expertise in automation testing for web applications using Selenium or Playwright.
• Experience in developing and managing a Continuous Integration system.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with Jira and Jenkins would be advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, is beneficial.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering is a plus.
