This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Assist in the selection, assessment, and commercial evaluation of General Contractor System Integrators and control contractors.
• Direct and oversee the performance of system integrators through calibrations, quality assurance, and resolution of issues.
• Act as the main escalation point for quality concerns regarding system integrators.
• Onboard and guide General Contractor BMS Leads, system integrators, and E&I control contractors.
• Aid in the review of commercial terms and conditions.
• Organize audits for factory-installed controls in packaged equipment and BMS commissioning audits.
• Facilitate large stakeholder meetings and weekly cross-functional meetings.
• Review and ensure compliance with DIV25 specifications and design deliverables.
• Promote consistency and standardization in controls across buildings, integrators, and installation contractors.
• Conduct inspections of BMS, PLC, and SCADA systems and validate project advancement.
• Oversee the quality of PLC and SCADA installations and builds.
• Guarantee the quality and functionality of BMS and SCADA interfaces, alarms, trends, and graphics.
• Provide on-site support for commissioning, vendor calibrations, and witness testing.
• Assist in benchmark and mock-up processes.
• Coordinate controls activity schedules with Construction Managers and General Contractors.
• Identify and address risks in controls architecture, including single points of failure and redundancy requirements.
• Support custom tooling, integration of construction processes, and cross-functional program initiatives.
• Utilize project data to pinpoint early finish dates for detailed design delivery.
• Manage issues from identification to resolution and assist with RFI tracking.
• Document and communicate issues related to controls and their resolutions.
• Perform regular site visits.
• Offer hands-on support for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of BMS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Over 7 years of experience in instrumentation and controls programming/installation, MEP coordination/project management with general contractors, and commissioning (mechanical and electrical) in data centers or other large-scale mission-critical facilities.
• More than 3 years of experience in programming/designing HVAC control systems and electrical power monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience with industrial automation and building management control systems (PLC/DDC).
• Familiarity with Autodesk, CxAlloy, ACC Build, and Procore platforms is preferred.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, and OPC UA systems is preferred.
• cGMP, CAP, or PMP certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Rockwell and Inductive Automation Ignition platforms is preferred.
