QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Evaluate slot game mechanics and features to detect potential issues.

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and innovative test cases.

• Review historical data, crash reports, and backtraces utilizing basic debugging methods.

• Conduct mobile testing on both iOS and Android platforms, as well as cross-browser testing.

• Execute API and database testing to ensure secure and accurate data transactions, wallet operations, and server integrations.

• Engage in Agile development processes and daily stand-up meetings.

• Work collaboratively with developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.

• Detect, isolate, and document complex bugs in a clear manner.

• Oversee testing workflows to meet strict production timelines while upholding quality standards.

• Serve as the final quality checkpoint for land-based, online, mobile, and social game releases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent professional experience).

• At least 5 years of practical QA testing experience in the software or gaming sector.

• Demonstrated expertise in testing slot games, including RNG, paylines, and bonus features.

• Proficiency in API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

• Experience in database testing and writing SQL queries.

• Familiarity with command-line tools for debugging purposes.

• Strong background in testing both native and web-based mobile applications.

• Working knowledge of operating systems including iOS, Android, Windows, and Linux.

• Must possess a recognized Software Testing Certificate, such as ISTQB or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience with bug tracking software, particularly JIRA.

• QA automation experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress is a plus.
