This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist the Project Director in planning and executing contracts related to the design and construction of new nuclear power plants.
• Oversee project quality, cost, and scheduling execution processes.
• Provide project administration and manage the configuration of project documentation.
• Facilitate project-related activities and resources to ensure timely delivery, accountability for profit and loss, and customer satisfaction.
• Aid in organizing the project cost structure within the Oracle ERP system.
• Participate in and coordinate project kickoff meetings with customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
• Develop and maintain the project roster while monitoring the completion of project training activities.
• Support the development and dissemination of the Project Management Plan and related project plans and procedures.
• Encourage the implementation of project plans and procedures throughout the project team.
• Assist in the development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools.
• Ensure compliance with relevant U.S. government regulations.
• Coordinate project activities while monitoring and controlling progress on deliverables.
• Guarantee that project deliverables meet contract and project specifications.
• Organize and archive project correspondence and records in accordance with the Project Configuration Management Plan.
• Lead, draft, and distribute project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for domestic and international assignments.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information may require authorization.
• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening may be required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline.
• Preferred: Experience with complex engineering projects.
• Preferred: Basic understanding of financial or accounting principles.
• Preferred: Experience or familiarity with Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) technology.
• Preferred: Knowledge of the power industry, including customer and competitive landscapes.
• Preferred: Proven ability to support project budget, schedule, and quality goals.
• Preferred: Understanding of financial control principles.
• Preferred: Strong professional interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Preferred: Initiative and capability to work independently.
• Preferred: Exceptional attention to detail, follow-up skills, and organizational abilities.
• Preferred: Capacity to manage workload under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Preferred: Proficiency in problem analysis and resolution.
