Lead Program Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver surge support to Tier One Programs as a lead expert in planning and scheduling.

• Assist with the implementation of tools, change control activities, customer deliverables, baseline review support, and integration of cost and schedule within an EVMS environment.

• Aid in significant replanning efforts, which include OTB/OTS actions, formal internal reprogramming, and schedule recovery initiatives.

• Create, maintain, and analyze intricate integrated program schedules, which encompass resource-loaded schedules and earned value-related schedule analysis.

• Construct executable plans and integrate inputs across functional and program teams.

• Develop, maintain, and analyze IMPs and IMSs using SOW, WBS, and associated planning inputs.

• Conduct critical path, schedule risk, network logic, baseline, and schedule health metric analyses, including BEI, CPLI, and SPI.

• Recognize schedule issues, logic conflicts, and performance variances; probe root causes and suggest corrective actions.

• Synchronize schedules across engineering, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams.

• Facilitate EVMS execution through schedule status and variance analysis.

• Prepare and present schedule status, milestones, critical path drivers, risks, and recovery plans.

• Coordinate the integration of subcontractor and supplier schedules.

• Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, and earned value methods.

• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, project control requirements, and customer or industry standards.

• Enhance scheduling processes, tools, metrics, and standards.

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.

• Participate in program reviews, schedule status meetings, and leadership briefings.

• Support planning excellence, schedule training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, STEM, or a related field with at least 9 years of experience in planning and scheduling; or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years in a relevant field; or, alternatively, at least 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

• Extensive knowledge of supporting DoD programs within a FAR and DFARS environment.

• Familiarity with PASEG and IPMDAR.

• Capability to lead planning and scheduling initiatives for large, high-visibility government programs.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and supporting schedules.

• Competence in developing and presenting project-level reports, presentations, and deliverables.

• Experience in developing and maintaining resource-loaded IMSs for program planning, execution, and EVMS compliance.

• Knowledge of Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis.

• Understanding of Space Systems programs.

• Skilled in Microsoft Project.

• Experience with Structured Solutions Incorporated (SSI) tools.

• Program management and coordination skills, including insight into SDLC processes.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on detail and quality of deliverables.

• Familiarity with EVMS.
