
Lead Product Manager – Marketplace Merchant Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take charge of the product vision, key performance indicators (KPIs), and roadmap for the merchant side.
• Lead and nurture a team of 3–5 Product Managers.
• Oversee merchant onboarding and verification, catalog and listing processes, pricing and offer mechanics, order and fulfillment workflows, payouts and settlements, as well as tools for seller performance.
• Foster a culture of product excellence through discovery, hypothesis formulation, defined launch metrics, and post-launch assessments.
• Organize work in a manner that enables merchants to witness enhancements every few weeks.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Managers regarding architecture, capacity, and work sequencing.
• Integrate AI as a standard component of team workflows for discovery, analysis, and prototyping purposes.
• Identify and explore AI opportunities within the merchant product segment.
• Serve as the escalation point for cross-functional obstacles.
• Advocate for the merchant product to senior stakeholders.
• Draft and refine Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), collaborate with data teams, and engage directly with merchants.
• Over 5 years of experience in product management, with direct ownership of a product area's results.
• More than 2 years of experience in leading and developing Product Managers, whether formally or as a respected figure in a team of PMs.
• Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or B2B/merchant-facing products.
• Understanding of two-sided marketplace dynamics.
• Proven history of product launches, including the ability to articulate the features of a launched product, the metrics influenced, and challenges encountered.
• Proficient in product analytics.
• Specific experience in discovery: selecting interview subjects, extracting insights, and discontinuing initiatives based on findings.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar, with the ability to validate model outputs effectively.
• Capability to advocate for or revise positions with senior stakeholders based on empirical evidence.
• Proficient in both Polish and English.
• Nice to have: familiarity with enterprise systems related to billing, settlement, ERP, and finance.
• Nice to have: experience where the product function closely aligned with commercial operations.
