This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +4 more states.
β’ Take ownership and develop YouGov's behavioral data portfolio.
β’ Manage the complete product lifecycle from discovery and validation to launch, optimization, and phase-out.
β’ Identify and assess new partnerships and opportunities in behavioral data.
β’ Establish product requirements, success metrics, and go-to-market strategies.
β’ Track product performance and key performance indicators using customer, product, and commercial data.
β’ Collaborate with commercial teams on product packaging, positioning, and user adoption.
β’ Create and uphold the product roadmap with clear deliverables and measurable results.
β’ Develop business cases and recommendations for investment and prioritization decisions.
β’ Recognize emerging sources of behavioral data, market trends, and customer needs.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert for YouGov's behavioral data offerings.
β’ Foster relationships across product, engineering, data science, research, marketing, and commercial teams.
β’ Lead cross-functional initiatives while balancing customer demands, business objectives, and technical limitations.
β’ Articulate strategy, priorities, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders at all levels.
β’ Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the behavioral data portfolio.
β’ Collect and synthesize customer, market, and competitive insights.
β’ Stay updated on developments in behavioral data, market research, consumer insights, privacy regulations, and emerging technologies.
β’ Ensure customer needs are central to product decisions and roadmap priorities.
β’ Proven product management experience in data, analytics, SaaS, or technology-driven environments.
β’ Familiarity with behavioral, digital, or consumer data products and their commercial applications.
β’ Experience collaborating with engineering and data science teams to create scalable product solutions.
β’ Strong analytical abilities utilizing product, customer, and commercial data for informed decision-making.
β’ Understanding of data privacy and governance issues pertinent to data products.
β’ Background in market research, consumer insights, media measurement, adtech, or similar fields is a plus.
β’ Strategic mindset combined with commercial awareness and execution focus.
β’ Excellent stakeholder management and influencing capabilities, including experience with senior leadership.
β’ Outstanding communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
β’ Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage ambiguity effectively.
β’ Collaborative, customer-centric, and results-oriented approach.
β’ 7-10+ years of product management experience, including several years in senior or lead roles within data products, analytics platforms, or technology firms.
β’ Demonstrated success in delivering product roadmaps from conception through launch and ongoing optimization.
β’ Experience working with global, cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
β’ Degree-level education in Social Science, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
β’ An MBA or advanced technical qualification is a plus.
β’ Recognized internally as a subject matter expert with a history of providing thought leadership that influenced product direction.
β’ Must reside in the US.
