Lead Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and lead a team of Product Managers, which includes responsibilities for hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and career growth.

• Take charge of the product strategy and roadmap for a specific product area, with accountability for both team and individual results.

• Establish standards for idea validation, utilizing rapid prototyping tools such as Replit, Lovable, Claude Code, or similar platforms.

• Convert unclear business challenges into well-defined priorities and sequences, making final decisions on trade-offs.

• Ensure thorough user research by conducting interviews, usability testing, and maintaining structured feedback loops.

• Develop the metrics framework for the product area and promote experimentation and data-informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with engineering, design, and leadership regarding priorities and resource allocation.

• Foster a culture of high ownership and rapid execution within the team, including the integration of AI-assisted tools.

• Represent the product area during leadership meetings, planning sessions, roadmap assessments, and organization-wide trade-off discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree.

• 6-9+ years of experience in Product Management, with a minimum of 2 years in a direct management role overseeing PMs.

• Background in EdTech, SaaS, HealthTech, marketplaces, or consumer technology sectors.

• Proven experience in hiring, developing, and managing the performance of Product Managers.

• Demonstrated history of owning a product area or line with tangible business outcomes at both individual and team levels.

• Practical experience in creating prototypes and validating ideas using AI-assisted or no-code tools.

• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, proficient in SQL, experimental design, and product analytics.

• Technical proficiency in software systems, APIs, backend architecture, or microservices.

• Familiarity with AI coding tools.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and experience aligning with senior leadership.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations while balancing team unblocking tasks with hands-on work.
