Lead Physician Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the main clinical resource for health information management and revenue cycle teams.

• Ensure proper documentation, coding compliance, and optimal reimbursement processes.

• Offer guidance on improving clinical documentation, conducting utilization reviews, and adhering to regulatory standards.

• Promote collaboration between physicians and operational teams.

• Create strategies to improve documentation quality, minimize denials, and support revenue integrity objectives.

• Lead initiatives to engage physicians.

• Provide advice on complex cases.

• Drive improvements in processes that align with best practices and compliance requirements.

• Must live and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Familiarity with health information management and revenue cycle operations.

• Knowledge in clinical documentation improvement (CDI).

• Understanding of utilization review processes.

• Awareness of regulatory compliance guidelines.

• Expertise in documentation, coding compliance, and reimbursement strategies.

• Experience in physician engagement and advising on complex cases.
