This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and create enterprise-scale Network-as-Code, Infrastructure-as-Code, and GitOps solutions utilizing Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Git.
• Remove manual network deployment procedures by ensuring Git serves as the sole source of truth.
• Construct, enhance, and sustain CI/CD pipelines for network infrastructure.
• Implement automated testing, dry-run validation, deployment approval gates, and security/compliance checks.
• Facilitate zero-downtime network deployments.
• Design, implement, and support Kubernetes networking architectures with Project Calico, OVN, VXLAN overlays, network policies, container networking, and physical underlay integration.
• Lead the design, modernization, and assessment of enterprise network architectures.
• Offer expertise in BGP, OSPF, data center networking, multi-site routing, and high-availability solutions.
• Act as the Tier-4 escalation engineer for intricate network incidents.
• Diagnose overlay/underlay failures, asymmetric routing, microbursts, path selection challenges, and network performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and propel long-term remediation and continuous improvement efforts.
• Improve network reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Apply Security-as-Code practices by automating validation and enforcement of ACLs, firewall policies, security groups, and configuration standards prior to production deployments.
• Over 8 years of experience in Network Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), or Platform Engineering.
• Practical expertise with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Proficient in F5 or similar load balancers.
• Familiarity with MPLS, OSPF, and BGP routing.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus 9k/7k/5k/2k switching.
• Working knowledge of Cisco IOS; Nexus OS is preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Python (Netmiko, Nornir, NAPALM).
• Expert understanding of BGP, OSPF, data center networking, and overlay/underlay network architectures.
• Experience in designing and operating Kubernetes networking, including Project Calico, OVN, VXLAN, and Kubernetes CNI.
• Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in supporting production enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with telecommunications technologies including SIP, RTP, Session Border Controllers (SBC), SIP trunking, and VoIP architectures is a plus.
• Knowledge of Linux networking, including network namespaces, virtual interfaces, eBPF, and iptables is a plus.
• Experience in implementing Telemetry-as-Code, network observability, automated validation frameworks, and proactive monitoring solutions is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, infrastructure modernization, or large-scale network transformation initiatives is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams is a plus.
