This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.
• Provide support for Modular Skid Packages, Wellhead Control Panels, and Pressure Regulation Systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of oil and gas activities.
• Guarantee adherence to custody transfer and fiscal metering standards, which include uncertainty calculations, meter-factor determination, proving practices, audits, and reporting/ticketing regulations.
• Direct the engineering, configuration, and setup of Flow Computers, covering meter runs, communication maps, security levels, diagnostics, backups, reports, proving logic, and FAT simulation.
• Implement API MPMS, AGA, ISO, and OIML/legal metrology requirements in the design, implementation, and auditing of metering systems.
• Conduct detailed engineering and practical configuration of flow computers.
• Convert customer and project requirements into URS, FDS, control narratives, sequence-of-operations documents, report/ticket definitions, and FAT/SAT procedures.
• Organize and lead FAT, IFAT, SAT, commissioning, and start-up activities.
• Set up and validate meter proving systems and their corresponding reports.
• Configure and validate operational and custody reports.
• Diagnose flow computer issues related to communications, calculations, I/O, alarms, reports, memory, time synchronization, and backup/restore functionalities.
• Facilitate integration with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and third-party systems.
• Engage in design reviews, technical audits, documentation evaluations, and training sessions.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance through commissioning and operational handover.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of pertinent experience in industrial automation, control systems, or similar engineering roles.
• Practical experience with MCS, FCS, PLC systems, and SCADA.
• Strong foundational knowledge of custody transfer and fiscal metering principles, including custody basis, uncertainty calculations, meter-factor determination, proving practices, audit requirements, and metering ticket/reporting standards.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in the engineering, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Flow Computers.
• Familiarity with one or more flow computer platforms such as OMNI, Emerson/Daniel, ABB/SpiritIT Flow-X, Honeywell, or equivalent systems.
• Capability to configure meter runs, communication maps, security/access levels, diagnostics, backups/restores, reports, alarms, events, time synchronization, and system parameters.
• Hands-on experience with meter proving systems, including proving sequences, detector inputs, repeatability checks, pass/fail criteria, meter-factor calculations, and proving reports.
• Experience in configuring and validating custody and operational reports, including daily, batch, proving, audit, alarm/event, and meter ticket reports.
• Ability to translate customer/project requirements into technical deliverables such as URS, FDS, control narratives, sequence of operations, report/ticket specifications, and FAT/SAT procedures.
• Proven track record in preparing for and leading FAT, IFAT, SAT, commissioning, start-up, and system handover activities.
