Lead Manager, Senior Salesforce Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, architect, build, and implement technical solutions on the Make-A-Wish America Salesforce platform.

• Provide support to the Make-A-Wish National Office and chapters throughout the United States.

• Evaluate complex business issues and implement solutions that improve business applications.

• Develop design specifications, unit testing scripts, and technical documentation.

• Create custom user interfaces utilizing Visualforce/Lightning pages, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components.

• Engage in all phases of the product life cycle, including assessments, solution design, custom development, testing, integrations, and implementation support.

• Lead or take part in architecture and technical design discussions.

• Adhere to coding standards and engage in code reviews.

• Manage release documentation and communications, which include training, customer service management, and technical release notes.

• Identify and address technical challenges while communicating with relevant stakeholders.

• Provide support for integrations with other applications and third-party services.

• Participate in daily scrum meetings and complete assigned user stories.

• Proactively report risks and issues with actionable recommendations to product teams and leadership.

• Debug and resolve reported issues and defects.

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with internal technical teams, vendors, and product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required.

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

• Salesforce Developer certification is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce Development Lifecycle is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to develop within the Agile framework.

• Experience with Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, and/or NPSP is preferred.

• Experience in Marketing Cloud is a plus.

• Salesforce development experience including configuration, customization, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Triggers, Workflows, Approval Processes, Reports, and Dashboards.

• Strong analytical and product management skills are required.

• Experience in implementing and administering Salesforce environments is necessary.

• Capability to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships.

• Excellent critical problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate and effectively communicate with product and support teams.

• Must thrive in a remote working environment.

• Some travel may be required.

• Occasional work outside of a traditional Monday–Friday work week and regular business hours may be necessary.
